Porting means to take your current phone number away from your current provider and transport it to Call Sumo. When the number is successfully ported to Call Sumo, the calls received from the ported number will be recorded and tracked. See tracking numbers
Please take note that we can port numbers to our system in the US and Canada only.
To port numbers to Call Sumo, we will need the following information from you:
- Current Carrier's name
- Number to Port as well as the number we will ring to (also called receiving number), and the tracking source you want the number to go into
- If your porting request is for multiple numbers, you will need to provide us a list of your numbers in a .txt file. List the number to port, receiving number, tracking source, account name.
- Customer Name - this is the name that appears exactly on your phone bill.
- Billing Address - exactly as you see it on your phone bill.
Please allow up to 4 weeks for the porting to complete. We will keep you up to date via email about how the porting process is going for your numbers (approvals, rejections, etc) and will let you know as soon as we have the ported number in our system.
